Goodbye and good luck Sam!

Sam started with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Idaho as a volunteer through the AmeriCorps VISTA program.  As a Match Support Specialist, Sam oversaw 80 “matches” and made sure that every Big and Little he spoke with felt supported and heard by our organization.  Sam has decided to do even more good for the community and has been accepted into Law School, which he will attend this fall.

“Every now and then you get to meet someone who is truly selfless and Sam was one of those people,” says CEO, Emily Johnson, “Around the office, we will miss his quick wit, his belief in our mission and his classic fashion sense. I feel better knowing that he is out in the community helping those he meets and continuing to inspire all those who are lucky enough to get to know him. We miss you Sam and wish you nothing but the best.” 

Thank you for the memories, Sam.  We’ll miss you (we’ll even miss your Crocs).
