Come join us for our own version of the "Amazing Race" at Ann Morrison Park on Saturday, September 18th. We will meet at 1:30pm at the park entrance off of Capitol Blvd and the race will begin at 2 o'clock sharp. The race will consist of several markers throughout the park with puzzles, tasks, or roadblocks to complete before your team can move on. Let the "Amazing Race" begin!
*It is outdoors, so please dress accordingly.
* Teams can decide on a team color and wear t-shirts or bandannas of the same color. Get creative!

St. Luke's Women's Fitness Celebration & 5K

The residents along Crescent Rim Drive in Boise, Idaho have generously donated scholarships to the Big Brothers Big Sisters program to help encourage confidence and fitness in our local youth. This is a great opportunity for Bigs and Littles to experience a day of fitness, inspiration and fun! We have 30 scholarships available to participate in this event!! The 5K Run, Walk & Stroll, which happens each September in Boise, is one of the largest women's run/walks in the USA. The Celebration was founded to inspire healthy attitudes in participants so that it reaches their families and communities. The 5k starts on Saturday September 25th at 8:30 am and begins in Downtown Boise, at the corner of Idaho and Capitol Blvd: 150 N. Capitol Blvd. Participants will receive a T-shirt and breakfast at the finishline. **BOISE OPEN WEEKLY PASSES**

We have a limited number of tickets for matches to attend the 21st annual Albertsons Boise Open. The Boise Open is a premier event on the Nationwide Tour. See the future stars of the PGA TOUR at this community-wide celebration that offers something for everyone. The tickets are good for the full week September 13-19, 2010 so matches can go once or go several times to enjoy the events at the tournament. The Albertson's Boise Open will be taking place at the Hillcrest Country Club. If you're interested in attending call your Match Support Specialist to request your tickets. There is a limited number and it's first come first serve so call today!

Create Your Own Match Activity is Back!
Through a specific Match Activity Donor Designated Account from The Koyn G. Hedrick Foundation, BBBS has the opportunity to fund that special match activity you have been thinking of! The donor's wishes are that your Little will be able to participate in activities that they wouldn't normally get to without these funds, such as: school sports equipment, music lessons, art classes, crafting classes, band instrument rentals, etc. The money is reserved for Bigs to help their Littles experience an exciting new opportunity! Each scholarship that is awarded requires follow-up by Bigs and Littles with thank you notes, stories, and photos of the activity. Please contact your Match Support Specialist for more details.
