What Do You Want Your Legacy To Be?
Few communities in America are as generous as the citizens of Idaho. Many people who give so generously while alive are concerned that their contributions will be missed when they are no longer around. Most of us throughout our lifetime, have opened our hearts to one cause or another. We might care deeply about children, seniors, education, the arts, homelessness, hunger, animals or sports. Whatever cause we support, our favorite charity comes to depend on us! Wouldn't it be comforting to know that a simple act today will provide support to Big Brothers Big Sisters FOREVER?
How do I leave a legacy?
There are many ways for you to leave a legacy. Some methods will even provide your heirs a tax benefit. Some methods provide income for the life of the donor, and then it becomes a permanent legacy after you are gone.
Some examples:
  • Include Big Brothers Big Sisters in your will
  • Invest in a Charitable Gift Annuity
  • Create a Charitable Trust
  • Buy an insurance policy with Big Brothers Big Sisters as the beneficiary

To ensure proper legal documentation, we recommend you contact your family attorney or financial advisor. If you are not currently working with a professional advisor, you may write to: Leave A Legacy, PO Box 6438, Boise, ID 83707-6438.
Do you have to be rich to leave a legacy?
